These are our latest changes to the design after various discussion meetings with the Ecovillage Findhorn community members. We've redused the entire volume of the dwelling, added more greenroof to blend in furthermore within the surrounding gorse and sand dunes.
We aim for the least visual impact of the house from the public path side, tucking in the house amongs the gorse and trees. Parts of the roof will be the main Naturhus - greenhouse structure, combined with a lush greenroof.
The interior includes a water collecting central space with a tree and a stone sculpture, surrounded by wooden seating and shletered by timber framed structure.
