Forest School Project in Moravia, Czechia

03.09.25

This forest school project is guided by a child-centred, holistic approach to education, designed to foster confidence, creativity, and resilience through regular, long-term engagement in a natural environment.

The concept is rooted in a deep respect for children's innate curiosity and their fundamental right to play, to encounter and manage risk, and to form a lifelong relationship with the natural world. Our goal is to create not just a school, but a nurturing ecosystem that supports each child’s development in a meaningful and sustainable way.

The architectural design reflects these values—integrating seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, using natural materials, and providing a safe, stimulating, and beautiful environment for children to explore, learn, and thrive. Much like the learning that takes place within it, the building is open, flexible, and connected to nature at every level.

By creating a space where education and environment are intrinsically linked, we aim to support the development of resilient, curious, and grounded individuals—today and for the future.
